The World keeps on making shorter it’s distances, taking art from one extreme of the continent to the other.
At the end of 2014 Claudio Roncoli made the decision of moving definitely to Miami, a city that never stops growing, with open doors to new projects and ideas that constantly appear in his head.
In April 2015 Roncoli is opening his first Solo Show in Harold Golen Gallery, a gallery placed in the center of Wynwood, the suburbs neighborhood in Miami that we keep on hearing about, specially for it’s artistic content. This gallery has an important history of Pop artists, genre in which Claudio develops and investigates since his beginnings.
The exhibition named “Life is long and the World is small” will show artworks of the classic serie “Life”, that criticizes with irony and a particular esthetic themes such as consume, advertising and the feminine image, reuniting icons from different cultures that live together in the same world: Roncoli’s World.
“The American Dream of Claudio Roncoli really starts in his art, in those scenes that recreate the atmosphere of the fifties and sixties, where everything seems to be a promise of prosperity and success”
